Job Description
The Senior Logistics Manager (SLM) is a key member of the Management Team at the country level. Under the authority of the Country Logistics Manager (CLM), the SLM is accountable for overall procurement and supply chain management within their designated operational Area and responsible for transversal logistics management including assets & communication, fleet, fuel, premises. S/He should ensure compliance of all logistics operations in-country with ACTED logistics & donors’ procedures, best practices & national regulations, with an emphasis given to the value for money principle. S/he will also recruit, train, and manage logistics teams in the Capital Office, and support the Area Logistics Manager(s) in capacity building logistics teams in-country.
