Job Description

- Perform a monthly demand planning exercise with all customers and translate the demand plan into a supply plan per supplier
- Identify optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution
- Place orders with suppliers as per supply plan, paying attention to lead time, supply constraints and logistics/shipping constraints
- Select carriers and negotiate contracts and rates
- Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries
- Supervise logistics, warehouse, transportation, and last mile delivery
- Organize warehouse, label goods, plot routes, and process shipments
- Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
