Job Summary
Want to put your accounting expertise behind decisions that matter As our Senior Analyst Financial Reporting and Compliance youll play a key role in maintaining the quality and integrity of our financial reporting regulatory disclosures and internal controls.
Youll tackle complex accounting matters improve processes and collaborate across teams to support reliable and compliant financial reporting in a dynamic environment.
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) ensuring the quality and accuracy of reported information.
- Coordinate and prepare public company continuous disclosure documents including Managements Discussion and Analysis the annual report financial results releases and other regulatory filings.
- Support compliance with internal controls policies and procedures designed to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data accuracy including coordinating control testing required under National Instrument 52-109.
- Research and analyze complex accounting matters and non-routine transactions documenting conclusions through technical analyses and accounting memoranda in accordance with IFRS.
- Assess and implement new accounting standards disclosure requirements and accounting policies while contributing to continuous improvements across financial reporting processes controls and systems.
- Prepare and review government assistance and research and development (R&D) tax credit claims perform related accounting analyses and collaborate across teams to address financial information needs.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- You hold a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or have equivalent relevant education and experience.
- You have advanced proficiency in English and French to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders globally.
- You can independently manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting recurring financial reporting deadlines.
- You bring strong technical knowledge of financial reporting auditing IFRS and regulatory requirements applicable to public companies.
- You can navigate complex accounting matters develop clear recommendations and turn your expertise into practical solutions.
- You proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working increasing their efficiency reliability and sustainability.
- Youre known for your attention to detail resourcefulness adaptability and collaborative approach and you readily share your expertise with colleagues.
