Role Overview
The GCP/GKE Engineer is responsible for enabling and optimizing cloud resources to ensure high performance reliability and efficiency in virtualized on-demand environments.
This role involves working on complex and varied assignments that require independent judgment and decision-making often in ambiguous situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage monitor and optimize cloud-based systems networks and applications
- Ensure performance availability and scalability of Kubernetes environments
- Orchestrate and automate provisioning of cloud resources
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues
- Align solutions with organizational strategy and operational goals
- Follow established processes while contributing to continuous improvement
Education
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
