About the role:
As a Trainee Ranger youll undertake a comprehensive two-yeardevelopment program designed to equip you with the skillsknowledge and qualifications required to transition into a fullyqualified Ranger.
Working alongside experienced Rangers youll help ensurecommunity safety compliance with local laws and positive outcomesfor residents and visitors. This is a varied hands-on rolewhere no two days are the same.
What youll be doing:
Community Safety and Compliance - assist inenforcing local laws and relevant legislation supportinvestigations and contribute to preparing reports evidence andcourt documentation.
Field Operations - undertake patrols across thecity maintain the Citys animal management facility andparticipate in inspections and incident responses.
Customer Service and Community Engagement -provide advice to the public support community education andrepresent the City in a positive and professional manner.
Administration and Systems - maintain accuraterecords and update compliance systems assist with correspondencereporting and data entry.
What youll bring to the role:
- A genuine interest in community safety law enforcement or regulatory services.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good judgement integrity and a fair-minded approach.
- Confidence working both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and commit to a 2 year fixed term contract.
Pre-employment requirements:
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- National Police Clearance not more than six months old
- Proof of right to work in Australia
- White Card
