ABOUT THE ROLE
Weare seeking a compassionate and committed Student Support Officer Wellbeing (EarlyChildhood and Primary School) to join our vibrant school community. This position is part-time (0.6 FTE) with acommencement date Term Three 20 July 2026 or by negotiation.
Thisis a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the daily livesof students. As the Student SupportOfficer Wellbeing you will provide a practical emotional and pastoralsupport to help students successfully engage in learning and school life. This role provides early interventioninformal support mentoring co-regulation supervision and practical studentwellbeing assistance within the School environment.
Workingclosely with our Early Childhood and Primary School teams you will play a keyrole in supporting students to develop resilience regulate emotions and buildpositive relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Student wellbeing andresponsive support
Behavioural engagement andre-entry support
Student support planningand case management
Targeted wellbeing programs
Collaboration and pastoralcare
Supervision and duty ofcare

YOU WILL BRING
Experience working withchildren or young people ideally in a school setting
Strong interpersonal andcommunication skills
The ability to buildpositive respectful relationships with students
Practical skills inemotional regulation and behaviour support
A collaborative andproactive approach
Relevantqualification ie Youth Work Counselling Psychology or similar and trainingin trauma-informed practice restorative practices Mental Health First Aidpositive behaviours support and protective behaviours will be highly regarded.
