About the Role

The Student Services team at Excelsia provides dedicated student administration support to students throughout their academic journey offering assistance with enrolment orientation graduation and general enquiries to enhance the student experience.

Primary responsibilities include:

Serving as the first point of contact for students to provide student advice and support across the full life-cycle of their studies at Excelsia University College.

Performing administration services spanning student pre-enrolment course enrolment unit enrolment student requests fee help and grievances etc.

Providing exceptional customer service and assistance to staff and students with student course progression and moderation of grades.

Finalising and distributing student results as well as reporting and analysis of student data with accuracy and integrity.

Generating and distributing information to students and staff relevant to their studies or administrative needs.

Assisting with planning and executing student events such as orientation and graduation.

Ensuring accuracy of student data in the student management system and ensuring compliance with processes legislation and regulations.

Selection Criteria

Qualifications and Professional Standing:

Possession of a degree level qualification (or an equivalent combination of relevant experience/training).

Essential:

Committed Christian involved in a local congregation.

Previous work experience (3-5 years) in an administration and/or customer service setting.

Previous work experience in a higher education environment is highly desirable.

An understanding of the principles of customer service excellence.

Must have acute attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Demonstrated ability to triage and problem solve.

Technological literacy and experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel Power Point and Outlook).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines with demonstrated accuracy attention to detail punctuality and reliability.

Familiarity with compliance frameworks ( TEQSA PRISMS) would be an advantage.

Proficiency in Paradigm Moodle or similar student systems would be an advantage.
