Project

The East Rockingham Waste-to-Energy Project is a landmark facility in Western Australia that converts municipal and commercial waste into renewable energy. It will process up to 300000 tonnes of waste annually generating sustainable electricity for thousands of homes while reducing landfill. ACCIONA is delivering this complex infrastructure project with cutting-edge technology and a strong focus on environmental outcomes.

Position

Keep account of and develop and implement systems through good practice to ensure successful stock management. Build a foundation of supply chain resilience to ensure the facility is protected whilst working in line with business commercial and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage stock levels and ensure stock booking processes are followed to keep stock holdings accurate.
  • Utilise facility stock management software and develop periodic reports of stores status.
  • Supply chain management to ensure spare parts are delivered timely and at cost.
  • Carry out Asset management and Maintenance activities to completion within the required agreed timeframes.
  • Work with other Engineers & Technicians to develop strategic plans for facility availability and implement strategies as required.
  • Engage in outage activities sometimes out with your trade discipline.
  • Carry out PO raising/ receipting in line with business processes to ensure cost control is managed.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • At least 2 years hands-on stock control or procurement experience
  • Previous experience within the renewable energy or waste management sectors (highly desirable)
  • Strong MS Suite with a strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Current Driver License and your own reliable vehicle.
