Job Summary
About the role
CrewSELECT is chasing experienced Drill Rig Electricians for an upcoming onshore drilling campaign near Chinchilla from 25th June to 3rd July. This is a hands-on field role working across drilling rigs and camp facilities supporting critical operations in a fast-paced environment. Strong performers will be offered future ad-hoc swings with the next mobilisation already planned for August.
Mobilisation provided from the Toowoomba depot.
Key Responsibilities
- Fault find and repair drill rig electrical systems
- Maintain top drives and rig support equipment
- Complete preventative maintenance and inspections
- Support continuous drilling operations onsite
- Maintain compliance and safety documentation
Qualifications/Experience required
- Current QLD Electrical Licence CPR/LVR
- Cert IV Hazardous Areas or EEHA
- Previousdrill rig experience
- Top drive diagnostics and fault-finding ability
- WAH EWP CS or GTA tickets advantageous
