We are actively investing in our flagship Brisbane plant to double capacity over the next 3 years. To drive this transition we need a seasoned steady leader who can step onto the workshop floorestablishimmediate trust and grow our teams capability whilst delivering high-quality product every day.

Youwontachieve this by sitting behind a desk running reports. You will win by being on the shop floor setting the standard developing the team removing obstacles making improvements safeguarding quality & safety and driving our daily operating rhythm. The Role

As the Production Manager your mission is to lead and grow a high-performing production team that safely delivers Beaver products on time right first time.

What Youll Own:

• People-First Leadership:Lead and inspire the 50 person shop floor team to deliver consistent effortcommitmentand performance.

• Safety Culture:Make sure everyone goes home safe every single day.

• Zero-Defect Quality:Create a culture that takes pride in ensuring 100% quality at the point of work.

• Production:Deliver the daily production schedule across four shop floor workstreams.

• Cost Control&Efficiency:Deliver team productivity costcontroland minimise inventory.

• Team Development:Coach and develop your supervisors team leaders and team members.

• Continuous Improvement:Champion floor-level Lean initiatives and drive workshop readiness for the upcoming ERP upgrade.

This is a permanent full-time role based at our manufacturing plant in Salisbury Brisbane. You will lead our 50 person workforce through 4 direct reports running different teams on the shop floor. You will report to the Plant Manager and form a key part of the sites leadership team.

Who You Are

You are an experienced production leader who builds team commitment by earning their respect. You excel at building high-performing blue-collar teams and take genuine pride in mentoring and developing our frontline team leaders.

Your Profile:

• Shop Floor Track Record:Significant manufacturing experience including 5 years leading significant production teams (50).

• Discrete Manufacturing Background:Experience running production within a discrete built to order manufacturing environment ideally with significant product customisation.

• High Cultural Awareness:Strong emotional intelligence to earn the trust of a culturally diverse multicultural blue-collar workforce.

• Steady Temperament:You are composed under pressure earning respect through theconsistentexample you set.

• Ownership Mindset:You take 100% accountability for everything that happens on the shop floor and take real pride inthis.
