Chiosco by Ormeggio situated at dAlbora Marina in Mosman is a thriving Italian trattoria known for its classic cuisine and relaxed BYO-friendly atmosphere. Proudly run by the highly esteemed Two-Hatted Ormeggio team we are currently seeking a talentedChef de Partieeager to grow and advance their career in a fast-paced supportive kitchen environment.
Our venue operates seven days a week and offers à la carte service group events takeaway options from our kiosk and boat catering packages. As a Chef de Partie at Chiosco you can expect a variety of working hours including weekends.
What Were Looking For:
Full Australian working rights
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
Formal cooking qualification
Strong verbal communication skills in English
Experience with Italian cuisine essential
Ability to multitask work under pressure and thrive in a team
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute
Excellent attention to detail
A passion for food and delivering outstanding customer experiences
Completion of NSW Food Handlers course
Highly Regarded Skills & Qualifications:
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Experience on the hot/grill section
Expertise in pasta fresca
Experience with Italian seafood preparation
Key Responsibilities:
Consistently high-quality food preparation and cooking
Support with menu planning recipe development training and implementation
Maintain cost control and kitchen efficiency within budget
