Wereseeking a compassionate Kinship Placement Support Worker to workalongside carers and support services to ensure children remainconnected to their culture identity and community - making alasting impact through stable nurturingplacements.
Whatwill a typical day look like
- Support Kinship Carers to build strong nurturing environments
- Partner with families and community services
- Identify training needs and boost carer confidence.
- Lead carer inductions and develop tailored support plans
- Contribute to care planning and placement stability.
- Help organise meaningful events for children and carers
- Be part of an on-call roster for timely support.
- Keep placement records up-to-date and manager carer renewals.
MandatoryRequirements:
- A Diploma (or higher) in social or behavioural sciences social work or psychology.
- 3 years relevant experience in this or similar field.

- Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
- Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
