Support a secure messaging system connecting government agencies and partner organisations
Resolve Recruit is partnering with a leading Commonwealth Government agency to find an experienced System Administrator.
Our client is a prominent Commonwealth agency whose secure messaging platforms connect government agencies internal teams and partner organisations. As a System Administrator you will support the operation of this system
Key Responsibilities
Maintain system directory services including topic subscriptions organisational structures and distribution lists
Manage user accounts profiles and access controls including Need-to-Know (NTK) permissions
Manage Level 2 support requests via ICT service management tools
Diagnose issues within communications and system architecture and coordinate with relevant technical teams
Support formal messaging operations including message exchange and transfer processes across interconnected systems
Apply security policies and classification requirements in handling sensitive communications
Conduct periodic audits of system access and messaging distribution lists
Produce regular operational and statistical reports to support audit and compliance activities
Provide procedural advice to internal users and partner stakeholders
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and communicate system changes to stakeholders
Key Experience and Skills
Demonstrated experience administering secure messaging or comparable enterprise systems
Experience managing user profiles access controls and distribution/subscription configurations
Knowledge of organisational and positional structures within messaging or communication systems
High-level communication and advisory skills with the ability to liaise across internal and external stakeholders (including MS Teams)
Sound problem-solving and troubleshooting capability with an understanding of communications and system architecture
Security Requirements
Applicants must hold an active Negative Vetting 2 Security Clearance (or higher) to be considered.
