The Role
The Financial Controller is responsible for driving and optimising all financial operations ensuring full compliance with Australian accounting standards and delivering critical forward-looking insights that enhance performance and support sustainable growth across our mining and drilling operations.

Residential role based in Orange NSW
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end finance function (AR AP payroll general ledger)
Deliver accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting
Manage budgeting forecasting and cash flow
Ensure compliance with AASB standards taxation and statutory requirements
Partner with leadership to support strategic decision-making
Oversee audits tax obligations and regulatory reporting
Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
About You
CA or CPA qualified
Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership role
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations
Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
Excellent analytical communication and leadership skills
High attention to detail with strong commercial acumen
Requirements:
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Current Police Clearance (within 6 months)
