Job Summary
Bakers Delight Montmorency is seeking a skilled and reliable Baker to join our friendly bakery team. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about producing fresh high-quality baked goods in a busy retail bakery environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread rolls sweet products and other bakery items
- Measure mix mould prove and bake dough according to recipes and bakery standards
- Operate ovens mixers and bakery equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain consistency in product quality freshness and presentation
- Follow food safety hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
- Assist with ingredient preparation stock rotation and general bakery cleaning
- Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced bakery environment
Requirements
- Relevant baking experience or qualification preferred
- Strong knowledge of bread production and baking techniques
- Ability to work early mornings weekends and public holidays as required
- Reliable hardworking and able to work under pressure
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow recipes procedures and workplace standards

Required Skills:
AQF Certificate III in Baking or equivalent qualification OR minimum 35 years relevant commercial baking experience At least 2 years post-qualification or equivalent industry experience Proven experience in artisan and commercial bread production Strong understanding of dough fermentation baking processes and quality control Ability to work early mornings weekends and under pressure Reliable punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team.
