We are seeking an experienced and motivated Baker to join our team and contribute to our commitment to quality consistency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a wide range of breads rolls and specialty products in line with company standards
Measure mix knead and mould dough following established recipes and production schedules
Operate bakery equipment and ovens ensuring correct temperature and baking times
Monitor fermentation and proofing processes to achieve optimal product quality
Maintain consistency in product appearance taste and presentation
Manage daily production schedules to ensure availability of fresh products
Maintain stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients as required
Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene and workplace health and safety standards
Clean and maintain bakery equipment tools and work areas
Train and support junior staff where required
Requirements
Relevant baking qualification or equivalent work experience
Minimum 23 years experience in a commercial bakery environment
Strong knowledge of baking techniques dough handling and oven operation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable punctual and able to work early morning shifts weekends and public holidays
Team player with good communication skills

Required Skills:
AQF Certificate III in Baking or equivalent qualification OR minimum 35 years relevant commercial baking experience At least 2 years post-qualification or equivalent industry experience Proven experience in artisan and commercial bread production Strong understanding of dough fermentation baking processes and quality control Ability to work early mornings weekends and under pressure Reliable punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team.
