As a Project Planner at Martinus youll be embedded in the heart of major rail infrastructure delivery working alongside multidisciplinary teams to keep complex programmes on track. With projects ranging from major Inland Rail contracts to urban rail programmes across Australia and New Zealand no two days look the same.
We are actively seeking expressions of interest from Project Planners to support our growing portfolio of work.
What Youll Do
Develop maintain and report on project programs using Primavera P6
Drive program integration across design procurement and construction workstreams
Identify critical path activities schedule risks and recovery strategies
Collaborate with Project Managers discipline leads and site teams to ensure program alignment
Produce high-quality planning deliverables including baseline programs progress updates and look-ahead programs
Contribute to establishing and maintaining processes for program and progress reporting including dissemination of standards across the project
Prepare and control accurate and efficient program reporting including coordinating detailed reviews with delivery teams
Develop and maintain a Basis of Schedule clearly documenting assumptions methodology logic rationale and key constraints underpinning the program
Actively contribute to the identification mitigation and response to project risks and opportunities
Support tender and pre-contract planning activities as required
What Youll Bring
Proven experience as a Project Planner on major civil or rail infrastructure projects
Strong proficiency in Primavera P6
A solid understanding of construction methodology and sequencing
Experience working in an EPC alliance or construction contracting environment
Excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate influence and build relationships at all levels
Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering Construction Management or a related discipline
