We are looking for an experienced DevOps Manager with knowledge in the areas of infrastructure as a service platform operations and application support.
Your Role
The DevOps Manager role manages a team of Operations engineers to provision and maintain SAP Cloud solutions and ensure delivery according to defined Service Level Agreements. Ensure smooth operations and maximize uptime and performance of Cloud software
Key Responsibilities & Tasks

- Manages resources ensuring business critical & innovative outcomes are successfully achieved.
- Builds action plans and makes operational decisions on policies tactics and resources critical to business success to ensure delivery against strategy
- Accountable for annual goals established for the team
- Directs activities of the team
Complexity
- Leads by example shares knowledge and works collaboratively with direct reports
- Provides technical input and guidance and regularly applies expertise.
Experience
- Sound professional experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality.
- Acts with sound judgment emotional intelligence and political awareness. Demonstrates allmanagement responsibilities: create the future; build a team; develop people; manage performance.
- Ability to identify risks anticipate challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles with mitigations and contingencies.
- Works collaboratively with direct reports
- Regularly applies expertise in activities
- Professional experience in Cloud Delivery related fields and technologies
- Knowledge of AWS and technologies used for deploying and managing Cloud-native applications
- Strong understanding of cloud system architectures SaaS environments and infrastructure related topics.
- Sound knowledge of product support processes.
- Experience or a strong interest in strengthening the focus on infrastructure code and automation frameworks to proactively prevent configuration drift and ensure environment parity cross global clusters.
Communication
- Encourages and develops the team to cooperate and to freely express their opinions.
- Formulates clear objectives and strategies and work assignments
- Communicates unpleasant messages in a timely and constructive manner to the team
- Listens openly and attentively to fully understand ideas and opinions within the team
Work Experience
- 10 years of experience in cloud operations - developing delivering and maintaining Cloud Products
- 5 years of professional experience in leading or managing technical teams
