DevOps Engineer

Were looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join our growing cloud engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in automation-driven environments building scalable infrastructure and improving how software is delivered and operated.

Youll play a key role in designing deploying and managing AWS-based platforms while driving best practices across CI/CD infrastructure-as-code and cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage AWS infrastructure for scalability reliability and security
• Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
• Automate operational tasks using scripting (Python Bash PowerShell)
• Monitor and maintain system health using logging and observability tools
• Support incident response troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Collaborate with development teams to improve DevOps practices and deployment processes
• Implement cloud security controls and best practices

Qualifications :

Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2 S3 RDS Lambda VPC IAM etc.)
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred)
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions GitLab CI Jenkins etc.)
• Knowledge of containerisation (Docker; Kubernetes desirable)
• Strong scripting skills (Python Bash or PowerShell)
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS load balancing VPCs)

Operations & Delivery

• Experience supporting production systems and troubleshooting issues
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. CloudWatch Prometheus Grafana)
• Ability to work in fast-paced collaborative environments

Desirable

• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS)
• Exposure to DevOps best practices and GitOps
• AWS certifications (Associate level or above)
• Experience in enterprise or regulated environments
