About the role

We are looking to bring on a motivated and hands-on Geotechnical Engineer with 4 years of experience to join our talented team in the Gold Coast.

This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your career as a Geotechnical Engineer applying your technical expertise across significant infrastructure transmission and renewable energy projects. You will work in a supportive collaborative environment while taking on increasing responsibility and building your capability as a well-rounded engineer.

Responsibilities

• Undertake technical and non-technical tasks at the direction of senior professional personnel with support and training when required.
• Work with the technical team to develop technical solutions using an understanding of engineering and geological principles based on experience gained.
• Carry our fieldwork data collection/processing and design and reporting.
• Work at the direction of senior technical staff to support in progressing all aspects of project delivery.

What Youll Need

• A Civil Engineering Geology or Earth Science Degree
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Geotechnical Engineer part of a consultancy
• Onsite experience
• Previous exposure to proposal preparation and technical report writing
• A full Australian drivers license
• Good interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills both verbal and written
