Were seeking a passionate and driven Deputy Acute Physiotherapy Manager to support and help lead our high-performing acute physiotherapy service the largest across Epworth operating 7 days per week. About the Role
In this diverse and rewarding role you will support both the leadership and day-to-day operations of a team of approximately 22 EFT. From contributing to operational management and rostering to driving key portfolios you will play an integral role in shaping service delivery in partnership with the Allied Health Manager.
 
You will also maintain a clinical caseload within our short-stay Orthopaedic and General Surgical ward offering a unique blend of leadership and hands-on clinical practice in a fast-paced high-acuity environment.

Reporting to the Acute Allied Health Manager youll be a key member of the acute leadership team representing physiotherapy and driving service excellence. Youll also collaborate closely with Deputy Physiotherapy Managers across Epworth sites building strong connections and contributing to innovation and consistency across the network.

Youll make a real impact by:
    Leading and inspiring a high-performing team to deliver an outstanding patient experience
    Providing expert individualised physiotherapy care within an acute setting
    Coaching and mentoring junior staff and students to support their growth and development
    Driving patient flow and service efficiency while maintaining exceptional care standards
    Building strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams and external partners

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent as recognised by the Australian Physiotherapy Council
  • Current physiotherapy registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
