As a Deputy Shift Lead based at our highly automated customer site in Moorebank Sydney you will join Toyota Automated Logistics a global leader in warehouse automation supporting one of Australias most advanced automated picking solution sites. This hands-on leadership role offers the opportunity to work with industry-leading technology while driving operational excellence team performance equipment reliability and customer satisfaction within a 24/7 operation.

Your Impact:

• Support the Shift Leader in coordinating daily maintenance and operational activities across the site.

• Lead and coach technicians through hands-on guidance fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

• Respond to system faults outages and escalations to maximise equipment availability and operational performance.

• Monitor maintenance activities using the CMMS ensuring accurate reporting and effective asset management.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity reliability and service delivery.

• Ensure compliance with health safety quality and operational standards across all activities.

• Support the achievement of key performance indicators related to system performance customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

What makes you a great fit

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Automation Mechatronics or a related technical discipline.

• Experience working within automated warehouse logistics manufacturing or industrial environments.

• Previous experience leading or mentoring technical teams in a fast-paced operational setting.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to interpret equipment diagnostics and performance data.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
