Your Day on a PageWe have an exciting opportunity for a Conveyancing & Contracts Administratorto join our Legal team at Keyton. This role can be based in either our Sydney or Melbourne offices and we welcome applicants from both locations to Conveyancing & Contracts Administratoris responsible for providing contracts administration & conveyancing support to the Regional Operations and Sales Teams by managing the legal aspects of the resident exit/entry process residence contracts and disclosure documents and other transaction agreements between Keyton and its to the Conveyancing & Contracts AdministratorTeam Leader you will be tasked with undertaking a variety of duties and responsibilities including:Acting as a key contact with internal legal and external law firms for incoming conveyance communication ensuring legal compliance and making sure all reservations and settlements are processed on timeChampioning customer satisfaction and acting as a key legal contact for outgoing and incoming residents throughout the reservation resale and settlement processesCreation and review of residence contracts and other transaction agreements between the Company and its residentsAdministration including billing archiving scanning originals maintaining PoA register and establishing managing and maintaining electronic project filesPreparation of Exit Calculations in a timely mannerPrepare review and revise contracts agreements and legal documentsIdentify and address potential legal issues in contract terms and conditionsFacilitate contract negotiations with purchasers and their solicitorsMaintain a centralised contract repository ensuring all contracts are properly stored categorised and accessibleMonitor contract timelines milestones and renewal datesTrack contract performance and compliance with agreed termsAbout YouTo be successful in your application you will have the following;Technical or tertiary qualifications in contracts paralegal or business studies (Essential)Sound experience working in a conveyancing environment with an understanding of property contractsExcellent contract management skills including contract processing and administration and an understanding of basic contract requirementsExperience working within the retirement living industry (Desired)Excellent document controlHighly organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasksAbility to work independently with low level supervisionHighly motivated and able to take initiative within nominated range of authorityAlways maintain a high level of confidentialityAlways maintain a high level of professionalismExcellent communication style able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and external stakeholdersKeyton Perks & BenefitsCareer development and growth opportunitiesGenerous leave entitlements including 4x wellbeing days per and working with a supportive and fun teamThrive as part of a strong team in an exceptional work environmentEmployee referral programReward & Recognition ServicesHealth & Wellbeing and Reward ProgramExclusive access to Sonder mental wellbeing appDiscounted health insurance annual vaccinations and skin checksThe opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residentsReady to Join the FunIf youre passionate about fostering a vibrant and caring community for independent seniors wed love to hear from you!
