- Full Time Continuing
- Level 10 - $142137 to $150720 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
- Albury-Wodonga Bathurst Orange or Wagga Wagga
As the Associate Director Financial Accounting (Reporting and Assets) you will provide University wide leadership of the financial accounting functions overseeing statutory reporting financial governance and asset accounting across the institution and its controlled entities.
You will ensure high quality compliant financial and climate reporting while driving strong governance and continuous improvement in accounting practices. Additionally working closely with the Director Financial Accounting and Treasury you will also contribute strategic insight to broader financial management to support informed decision making and longterm sustainability.
About you
- Post graduate accounting qualification and CA or CPA membership
- Extensive experience in financial accounting and reporting within a large-scale enterprise
- Proven leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in accounting systems / software with ability to embrace emerging technologies
- Public finance and climate reporting knowledge highly regarded
