Ideagen is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business growth across the Mining Utilities and Construction sectors within the Australia and New Zealand region. This role focuses on acquiring new customers developing strong industry relationships and helping organisations address operational compliance quality and risk management challenges through Ideagens SaaS solutions.
As a member of the sales team you will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and contract closure. You will work closely with internal teams to deliver a consultative and customer-focused approach that supports sustainable growth across the region.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a territory and account strategy to achieve new business revenue targets
Identify engage and qualify prospective customers across the Mining Utilities and Construction sectors
Manage the end-to-end sales process including prospecting discovery solution positioning proposal development negotiation and closing
Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organisations
Understand customer challenges business objectives and operational requirements to recommend appropriate solutions
Deliver product demonstrations and presentations that clearly communicate the value of Ideagens software solutions
Maintain an accurate pipeline and sales activity records within Salesforce and other sales tools
Provide regular forecasting updates and sales reports to leadership
Work collaboratively with Marketing Product Sales Engineering and Customer Success teams to support customer acquisition and onboarding
Share market intelligence customer feedback and competitive insights to inform future business opportunities
Skills and Experience
Experience in B2B sales ideally within Mining Utilities Construction or related industries
Experience selling software SaaS or technology solutions
Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding revenue targets
Understanding of industry challenges operational environments and buying processes within target sectors
Strong communication presentation and relationship-building skills
Consultative sales approach with effective negotiation and closing capabilities
Experience using Salesforce MEDDPICC or similar CRM and sales methodologies
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
Self-motivated proactive and comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams
