Senior Unity 3D Engineer

Job Summary

Were seeking individuals passionate about mixed reality and Affective AI to join our team in crafting immersive experiences on the Apple Vision Pro headset. As part of our engineering team youll collaborate closely with leaders and peers to develop innovative applications that bridge the gap between humans and AI.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Lead Engineer and team to design and implement innovative applications on Apple Vision Pro using Unity focusing on creating immersive user experiences.
• Ensure seamless integration of mixed reality elements by working closely with other departments.
• Address technical challenges and troubleshoot effectively as they arise.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in Unity and AR/VR technology.
• Push the boundaries of technology to deliver exceptional results.
• Thrive in an environment of adaptability and uncertainty embracing challenges with enthusiasm.
• Develop 3D Character and animator Controllers for existing applications using C#/Unity ARKit and Poly Spatial for VisionOS.
• Design and implement a new AI system for the Character Controller.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Develop interactive features for 3D characters in both shared and immersive spaces on Apple Vision Pro.
• Create C# plugins and bridges to facilitate interaction between Unity and other libraries.

Requirements

Must Have:

• Strong experience in Unity 3D development.
• Proven track record of building engaging applications.
• Ability to translate abstract concepts into practical solutions.
• Proficient problemsolving skills and adaptability to new challenges.
• Enthusiasm for exploring new technologies and pushing boundaries.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with Unity Animator Animation and Blend Trees.
• Solid understanding of OOP Game Design Patterns and Algorithms.
• Proficiency in writing clean reliable and optimized code in C#.
• Experience with 3D Game Development and building AI Systems.
• Familiarity with performance profiling code security and optimization of Unity applications.
• Experience with building Item Management systems using Asset Bundle and Addressable.
• Ability to develop Unity tools plugins bridges and shared libraries.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with MixedReality Applications (VR AR & MR).
• Experience with Multiplayer (Client/Server) setups.
• Knowledge of Software design principles.
• Familiarity with PolySpatial and VisionOS.
• Experience with Unit Tests.
