Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory guidance including concerning relevant crypto and financial regulation
• Provide legal guidance and counsel in coordination with crossfunctional teams to effectively respond to the ongoing monitoring by a governmentappointed Monitorship of the AntiMoney Laundering (AML) and sanctions compliance programs
• Partner closely with crossfunctional and regional teams supporting on complex legal matters of diverse complexity sensitivity and significance.

Requirements and skills

• Qualified lawyer with 48 years of experience at a reputable global law firm
• Inhouse experience is a plus
• A proven history in litigation and contentious regulatory matters
• Admitted to practice in at least one U.S. state
• A comprehensive understanding of both AML and sanctions compliance programs
• Robust analytical skills with an eye for detail
• Capable of working proactively in both independent and team environments
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of financial products (including spot trading margin trading futures and options) is essential.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin will be highly advantageous
