Operation Manager

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership for department including recommending and implementing equipment process and material enhancements.
  
• Analyzes and plans workforce utilization space requirements and work flow including design layouts for equipment and workspace.
  
• Maintains constructive working relationship with business units customers and internal departments including effective communication coordination of WIP and process improvement.
  
• Develops systems for tracking efficiency quality scrap rework etc. Identifies and implements steps for improvement.
  
• Researches and makes recommendations on production and auxiliary equipment procurement identifies new technologies and expansion plans.
  
• Ensures that daily schedules quality and production goals are met troubleshoots problems as required.
  
• Conducted realtime troubleshooting to identify and address machine issues promptly.
  
• Collaborated with the maintenance team to perform preventive maintenance activities.
  
• Executed mold changes and set up machines for different production runs.
  
• Worked with production schedules to meet daily and weekly production targets.
  
• Implemented safety protocols and ensured a safe working environment.
  
• Recorded and documented machine parameters and production data.
  
• Oversaw mold setup/mold changes and adjusted processes to ensure product quality.
  
• Material Processing (PC HIPS ABS Nylon GF PPTF.POM PPCP PP)
  
• Conduct analysis and improvement activities for new mold trials resulting in enhanced product quality.
  
• Monitored and improved Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) on the shop floor achieving productivity gains.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Plastic molding Technology or Manufacturing Engineering plus 5 or more years experience in injection molding processing and troubleshooting.
  
• 510 years or more years experience in manufacturing management include supervision and operation/project management at exempt level required.
  
• Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
  
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics
  
• Proficient in MS Office ERP and MES system
  
• Outstanding communication ability
  
• Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
  
• Attention to detail
  
• Strong decisionmaking skills and a resultsdriven approach
  
• Understanding of medical product quality standards and health & safety regulations
