We are looking for a Finance Officer to join our clients team. You will be reconciling accounts assisting with VAT returns issuing and posting invoices etc. If successful you will be joining a focused and professional team that encourages continuous learning and career ambition.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is an intellectual property company and is located in Mosta Malta.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Issuing and posting of supplier invoices.
- Issuing invoices to debtors.
- Processing of supplier payments.
- Petty Cash and VISA postings.
- Preparing and posting bank entries.
- Reconciliations of bank accounts.
- Reconciliations of creditors.
- Upload daily bank balances.
- Accruals and prepayments reconciliation.
- Assist with VAT returns.
- Scanning for Docuware.
- Assist with monthend tasks.
- Update of the fixed assets register.
EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in an accounting role.
- You are computer literate and have a good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Very good command of the English language.
- You are a team player selfmotivated and able to work independently.
- You possess multitasking and analytical skills as well as an eye for detail.
- You are able to deliver tasks effectively in a timely manner and according to deadlines set.
- You possess excellent inter and intrapersonal skills.
- You are able to work under pressure.
- Must be an EU/EEA/a Swiss national.
EDUCATION
Candidates must have completed atleast 5 ACCA modules.
