Financial Accountant

Position Overview:We are currently seeking experienced Financial Accountants to join our Financial Controlling department in Malta. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of related experience and will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage daytoday financial operations including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
2. Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash flow statements.
3. Ensure compliance with local accounting standards regulations and company policies.
4. Assist in the preparation of budgets forecasts and financial reports for management review.
5. Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
6. Assist in the coordination of internal and external audits including providing necessary documentation and explanations.
7. Support the Financial Controller in financial analysis planning and decisionmaking processes.
8. Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
9. Stay updated on industry trends accounting standards and regulatory changes.
10. Perform ad hoc financial tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA CPA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial accounting or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles standards and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
