JOB TITLE: Transport Manager
JOB LOCATION: Tanzania East Africa
REPORTING TO: Operations Manager

ROLE SUMMARY:

Transport Manager is responsible for leading the organizations Transport division
ensuring that all fleet operations are executed to achieve maximum utilization and
revenue growth. This role focuses on maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by
fulfilling daily requirements while strictly adhering to internal policies statutory
regulations and quality standards.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Lead and manage the Transport division team providing direction to align with
organizational objectives.
2. Manage daily customer requirements with a focus on achieving the highest levels
of customer satisfaction.
3. Implement and monitor comprehensive journey and driver management plans to
optimize vehicle efficiency.
4. Manage operations to ensure maximum fleet utilization and the maximization of
revenue.
5. implement company policies procedures and quality objectives across all
logistics operations
6. Oversee the entire documentation process for fleet operations including the
timely submission of trip delivery and statutory documents to the appropriate
departments and authorities.
7. Manage all fleet licensing requirements ensuring all renewals are executed
promptly and without delay.
8. Ensure efficient management of the driver pool for the allocated fleet.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor degree/Advance diploma in Transport/Business Management or
equivalent

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

1. Over 5 years experience in handling transport services and fleet management of
a reputed transport organization
2. Proficiency in computers and digital logistics platform
