Role Overview
As an Associate Project Manager you will support the planning coordination and controlled execution of IT and telecommunications projects for international clients.
This role is designed for professionals with 13 years of project management or coordination experience who are ready to take ownership of defined project workstreams while operating under senior project leadership.
You will contribute to project structure documentation communication and risk monitoring in a disciplined and process-driven environment.
Tasks
Project Planning & Coordination
- Assist in developing structured project plans timelines and task trackers.
- Coordinate activities between technical teams customers and vendors.
- Track progress against milestones and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support scope control and change tracking.
Execution Monitoring & Risk Tracking
- Monitor task completion and delivery timelines.
- Identify potential risks dependencies or delays and escalate proactively.
- Ensure alignment between technical execution and project objectives.
Technical & Documentation Support
- Work on projects involving IT infrastructure fundamentals (networking IP concepts firewalls basic security).
- Translate technical inputs into structured project documentation.
- Contribute to reports trackers and internal delivery documentation.
Quality & Compliance Support
- Support adherence to internal quality and security procedures (QHSE).
- Assist in preparing documentation for audits and client reviews.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Communication & Reporting
- Prepare structured status reports and meeting summaries.
- Maintain clear and professional communication in Arabic and English.
- Support stakeholder updates under guidance of senior project leadership.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering Telecommunications or related technical field.
- 13 years of professional experience in Project Management or Project Coordination.
- Practical exposure to project lifecycle phases (planning execution monitoring).
- Foundational understanding of IT networking concepts (IP firewalls infrastructure basics).
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall or Prince2 fundamentals).
- Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Professional proficiency in Arabic (written and spoken).
- Ability to work independently in a structured remote environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to telecom or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with QHSE or structured compliance environments.
- Strong interest in developing a long-term career in project management.
