Your Role: Junior Project Manager
This is an essential delivery role for a technically-grounded professional with a proven track record of at least one year in project management. You wont just be learning the ropes; you will be expected to apply your foundational knowledge of project lifecycles from planning through to execution and delivery. Working within our project delivery teams you will support IT and technical projects for global clients ensuring high standards of precision and communication.
We are seeking a disciplined detail-oriented professional who has already moved past the learning phase and is ready to take ownership of specific project workstreams in a fast-paced remote environment.
Tasks
Project Coordination & Execution:
- Support the development and maintenance of detailed project plans schedules and task trackers.
- Assist in coordinating activities across internal technical teams customers and third-party vendors.
- Monitor project progress proactively identify risks and dependencies and escalate issues appropriately.
- Ensure project deliverables meet agreed-upon timelines scope and quality standards.
Technical Project Support:
- Work on projects involving core IT infrastructure concepts including networking (IP addressing firewalls basic network security) and systems.
- Serve as a liaison translating technical requirements and constraints into clear actionable project tasks for diverse stakeholders.
- Review and contribute to technical documentation related to project delivery.
Quality Safety & Compliance (Q&S / QHSE):
- Actively support the implementation of our Quality Health Safety and Security (QHSE) procedures within all project activities.
- Help ensure compliance with internal and client-specific security and quality standards.
- Participate in preparation for audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Communication & Reporting:
- Prepare clear and concise project documentation including status reports meeting minutes and action item logs.
- Provide regular structured updates to project managers and key stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication during project meetings and customer touchpoints.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering Telecommunications or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of professional experience in Project Management or Project Coordination (this is not a role for fresh graduates).
- Demonstrated involvement in the planning execution and delivery phases of a project lifecycle.
- Solid foundational understanding of IT networking (IP firewalls security) and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with project management frameworks (e.g. Waterfall Agile or Prince2 basics).
- Exceptional written and verbal English skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and maintain high productivity in a fully remote setting.
Highly Desirable:
- Familiarity with or exposure to Quality Health Safety and Security (QHSE/Q&S) frameworks or standards.
- A demonstrated interest in pursuing a formal career path in project management.
