Our Client a leading company in the Automotive sector is seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Commercial Vehicle Sales Executive to drive sales growth and manage key customer relationships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities managing the sales pipeline achieving assigned sales volume and margin targets and ensuring high customer satisfaction while supporting effective stock turnover.
Responsibilities:
- Identify prospect and develop new business opportunities within fleet and corporate customer segments.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to generate repeat sales.
- Conduct customer visits presentations and product demonstrations to promote commercial vehicle solutions.
- Prepare accurate quotations and negotiate deals in line with company pricing and margin guidelines.
- Close sales transactions and coordinate timely invoicing and vehicle delivery.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to achieve sales targets and ensure timely reporting of online leads.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline aligned with monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Track leads follow-ups and deal progress using approved CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews with the Sales Manager to ensure target achievement.
- Prioritize the sale of available stock with a strong focus on clearing aged inventory.
- Align customer offers with stock availability to minimize over-aged units.
- Coordinate closely with logistics and procurement teams regarding stock status and availability.
- Ensure all sales transactions meet minimum margin requirements as per company policy.
- Avoid unauthorized discounting and seek approvals where required.
- Conduct customer needs analysis and site surveys to ensure correct vehicle specifications and avoid rework.
- Ensure professional handling of customer inquiries quotations and after-sales follow-ups.
- Support smooth vehicle handover processes to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Address customer concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
- Submit accurate sales reports forecasts and activity plans within agreed timelines.
- Maintain complete documentation for each sale including quotations site surveys signed offers and delivery notes.
- Support management by providing market intelligence and competitor feedback.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Business Sales Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum of 35 years proven experience in sales preferably within the commercial vehicle or related industry.
- Strong negotiation closing and customer relationship management skills.
- Good understanding of commercial vehicle specifications and applications.
- Valid driving license.
- Strong sales discipline with effective pipeline and time management skills.
- Ability to achieve sales targets consistently.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
