ملخص الوظيفة

Our client who is in the agriculture industry is seeking a Head of Sales / Commercial Director to lead the companys commercial development and drive sustainable sales growth across feed products and feed additives for poultry swine and cattle. The role will focus on expanding market share within Tanzania by developing the companys own retail outlets strengthening distribution networks and managing strategic key accounts. The ideal candidate is a commercially astute leader with strong knowledge of the livestock and feed market capable of building high-performing sales teams while ensuring financial discipline and effective receivables management.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the overall commercial strategy for Tanzania to achieve revenue and market share growth.

Expand geographic coverage by identifying new markets regions and customer segments within the livestock sector.

Build manage and optimize the companys own retail shop network to ensure strong market presence and profitability.

Establish develop and scale nationwide distribution partnerships to enhance product accessibility and sales performance.

Lead manage and monitor the sales team by setting targets implementing structured sales processes and driving reporting and forecasting routines.

Conduct direct sales and maintain strong relationships with large farms integrators and corporate customers.

Track sales performance analyze market data and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

Monitor and control accounts receivables manage credit exposure and implement effective credit and collection strategies.

Ensure healthy cash flow by minimizing overdue balances and maintaining financial discipline across the sales function.

Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery to customers.



Requirements


Degree in Animal Science Veterinary Science Agriculture Business Administration or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years experience in direct sales with proven commercial leadership experience (experience in feed veterinary products or agriculture is highly preferred).

Strong knowledge of the livestock sector and feed market in Tanzania.

Proven experience building and managing retail networks and distribution channels.

Demonstrated track record of achieving sales growth and developing strategic key accounts.

Excellent negotiation communication and relationship management skills.

Data-driven target-oriented and capable of making responsible commercial decisions.

Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

High level of mobility and willingness to travel frequently across the country.

Self-motivated hardworking and able to thrive in a performance-driven environment.
