As a Product Owner at RSA you will be the voice of the customer and the bridge between business needs and engineering execution. You will own the product backlog define user stories and ensure that the development team delivers value aligned with RSAs strategic goals. This role requires strong collaboration analytical thinking and a deep understanding of agile product development.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the product backlog ensuring it is well-defined prioritized and aligned with business objectives.
- Translate business requirements into clear actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering UX QA and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact features.
- Lead sprint planning backlog grooming and review sessions to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Continuously refine the product roadmap based on feedback data insights and evolving market conditions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for product-related queries during development cycles.
- Support go-to-market activities and ensure readiness across teams for product launches and updates.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies.
- Proven ability to balance competing priorities and make trade-off decisions that maximize business value.
- Excellent communication skills capable of engaging with Director-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with industry trends competitive landscape and emerging technologies.
- Experience in risk assessment roadmap planning and business impact analysis.
Education & Experience:
- 6 years of experience in product ownership product management or related technical roles (e.g. R&D SE PS).
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline; MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus.
- Experience working in enterprise software or cybersecurity domains.
- Ability to lead small-to-medium cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong analytical mindset with a customer-centric approach.
- Comfortable presenting in webinars internal trainings and stakeholder meetings.
