Uliza Events is expanding in Tanzania and is looking for a Hybrid Business Development Agent to help grow our client base for wristbands and event merchandise.
This role is not full-time but is performance-based and flexible as long as you meet your daily and weekly KPIs. You will work remotely make calls visit clients on the ground and use social media to generate leads.
You ll target malls events swimming pools hotels schools NGOs and printing partners.
Generate 10 bulk leads (5000 pieces) and 15 small leads (<5000 pieces) daily
Make calls to prospects and update Excel sheets
Identify high-traffic venues and events using wristbands
Share samples and collect pricing info from clients
Set up meetings and close 10 deals per week
Retain and upsell to top clients
Perform social media outreach (WhatsApp Instagram Facebook)
Partner with printing firms and event companies
Coordinate deliveries with our fulfillment partner
Maintain a weekly tracker of upcoming events through December
Submit daily activity reports
2 3 years of experience in sales cold calling or field marketing
Strong communication & networking skills
Fluent in English and Swahili (written and spoken)
Fast typing skills and excellent email/WhatsApp communication
Proficient in Microsoft Excel for tracking leads and events
Self-motivated organized and results-oriented
Familiar with using social media for business
Based in Tanzania and able to move around as needed
Starter Salary: TZS 300000/month
Bonus opportunities for deals above 10000 pcs
