Design Engineer - Smart City / ICT

We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Design Engineer specializing in Smart City and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our engineering department you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cutting-edge smart city solutions that enhance urban living and sustainability.

• Develop and design smart city infrastructure and ICT systems for urban environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create integrated solutions for city-wide projects
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed technical drawings and specifications
• Analyze data from various sources to inform design decisions and optimize system performance
• Implement IoT technologies and connected devices in urban planning and infrastructure projects
• Manage project timelines budgets and resources efficiently
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare technical reports for stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in smart city development
• Ensure compliance with local and international standards and regulations
• Participate in client meetings and present technical solutions to non-technical audiences

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical Computer or related field); Masters degree preferred
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Smart City or ICT projects
• Proven experience with urban planning and infrastructure design
• Strong proficiency in CAD software and project management tools
• Expertise in data analysis visualization and IoT platforms
• In-depth knowledge of smart city technologies and ICT systems
• Experience with network design and implementation in urban environments
• Solid understanding of sustainable development practices and their application in smart cities
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
