Role Overview:
The Technical Design Coordinator plays a key role in managing and coordinating the design development process across all disciplines ensuring that the architectural structural and MEP designs are fully integrated technically sound and aligned with project objectives codes and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate between consultants contractors and internal design teams to ensure technical consistency and integration across residential office and commercial zones.
- Review design drawings (architecture structure MEP) and ensure alignment with project standards regulations and client requirements.
- Lead design coordination meetings and issue tracking across disciplines.
- Monitor design progress manage technical submittals and facilitate timely approvals.
- Ensure that technical documentation is complete accurate and aligned with construction design risks clashes or technical issues early and resolve them proactively.
- Collaborate with BIM teams to support model integration and quality control.
- Liaise with site teams to ensure design intent is delivered on ground.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Architecture or Engineering (Architecture preferred).
- 5 10 years experience in large-scale mixed-use projects.
- Strong technical understanding of residential commercial and office typologies.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Revit and coordination platforms like Navisworks.
- Experience in managing consultants and design deliverables under tight timelines.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
