A Day in the Life
This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronics Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. You will have the opportunity to work with healthcare professionals learn about the latest advancements in diabetes and contribute to patient care. This internship is a great way to start your career in healthcare while making a meaningful impact to peoples lives.
Internship details:
Start date: August 2025
Duration: 6 months
Working hours: 40 h/week with flexibility (exams and holiday period)
Working model: hybrid/ onsite
Based in Sakaka (Al-Jouf) - but could also cover Hail Qurrayat and Arar if needed
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Provide support and education to doctors nurses and patients on diabetes management and our products addressing their questions and needs.
Participate in patient onboarding sessions and educational campaigns to improve diabetes awareness and care.
Manage consignment inventory in hospitals and ensure timely replenishment of used items.
Assistthe logistics team during deliveriesto ensure smooth operations.
Travel within the local region to extend education and support efforts.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Currently in the final year of studies or recently graduated inhealthcare nutrition health education or a related field
Fluent in both English and Arabic
Proficient in MS Office (PowerPointExcel Outlook andSharepoint)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational abilities with a customer-focused mindset
Eager to learn develop and grow professionally
Would be a plus:
Experience working with patients
Interest in Diabetes. Additional training or certifications in diabetes care are a strong plus.
Driving license
