الوصف الوظيفي
- Maintain accurate daily records of financial transactions including mobile money operations.
- Prepare timely financial statements and management reports
- Reconcile bank mobile money and system accounts (e.g. customer wallets agent float revenue accounts)
- Monitor and report on income expenses commissions and financial performance.
- Assist with budget preparation cost analysis and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with Tanzania tax regulations reporting deadlines and financial laws.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate reporting and cost tracking.
- Support audits by providing detailed documentation and explanations.
- Monitor and resolve financial discrepancies in the mobile money system.
- Help maintain financial controls and risk management practices related to digital transactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- 1 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role preferably
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Tally QuickBooks Sage or ERP systems).
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of mobile money operations or digital payment systems is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of Tanzanian tax laws and financial regulations.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with Tanzanian tax systems (TRA requirements VAT PAYE etc.) is essential.
- Experience with regulatory compliance (BOT TRA etc.).
- CPA (T) or progress toward a professional accounting qualification is a plus.
