Job Description Summary
GE Vernova Grid Solutions Israel is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join the Projects execution team.The position in located in Israeli Customers sites. The position is limited for a period of three (3) years.
In this role you will be responsible for providing Supervision Services to a variety of Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) installation projects ensuring that the equipment is installed according to GEVs highest standards of Health Safety & Environment (HSE) to achieve GEVs growth and profit targets as well as to meet contractual obligations and to deliver a product with highest quality to fulfil the Customers expectations.
Good strong experience and background in GIS installation with at least Practical Engineering diploma (Mechanical or Electrical) working closely with customers installation teams and other services providers and different departments within the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible and accountable for the overall quality and integrity of the build process for the GIS installation. Responsible for the raising submission and sites closure of product-based NCPs (Nonconformity-Project) reports.
Responsible for the liaison between the GIS product unit and the Customers installation teams about GIS product and installation issues.
Responsible for the on-time reports preparation concerning works progress and product issues to the GIS PLs PM.
Responsible for the daily management and the right assignment of the field resources to maximize the potential success by effective and efficient operation of the installation team ensuring that the planned works are carried out as per the work plans.
Promote safe working practices and continual improvement in GEV Grid site safety culture.
Required Qualifications
- Very good experience in GIS and other HV equipments installation.
- At least a Practical Engineering diploma in either Mechanical or Electrical.
- Experience in substation LV works and problem solving.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Able to build efficient communication network with key stakeholders both - in the company and with the Customers.
- Goof knowledge of computing tools.
- Team player.
- Hand on approach and a can do attitude.
- Fluent English and Hebrew French big advantage.
