Network Specialist
Salmiya Kuwait
Qualification:
Auniversity degree or Diploma in Information System Computer ScienceElectronics Engineering or equivalent degree is required.
CCNP certified is required.
Required:
At least 10 years of experience in LAN WAN platform
Experience:
Proficiency in Installing and Maintaining OS with goodknowledge in Windows Novell Unix Linux.
Proficiencyin Network Topology Fast Ethernet ATM Fiber and wireless.
Excellentworking knowledge of installation & configuration of Mail Servers FTPDNS Web servers Proxy servers on Linux and Windows.
SoundKnowledge & experience in installing and configuring Modems RoutersFirewall Web sites Proxy TCP/IP platform
SoundKnowledge of VLANS and routing and implementation
SoundKnowledge of Deployment Configuration Operation and detailed Troubleshootingof Windows ADS WSUS server and Symantec Endpoint
Protection Manager(S.E.P.M..
Programmingand RDBMS experience would be preferred.
Knowledgeconfiguring Nexus 700 series Network Switches
Technical Duties & Responsibilities:
Installing supervising and maintaining the network atKuwait Municipality.
Administratingthe network at Kuwait municipality
Evaluatingnetwork performance issues including availability utilization throughputgoodput and latency.
Maintainingnetwork performance by performing network monitoring and analysis andperformance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating
problems tovendor if necessary.
Monitorevaluate and intercept any security issues; suggest and implement suitablesolutions.
Planningand executing the selection installation configuration and testing of newequipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing
connectionsand firewalls.
Administratingthe LAN/WAN communication between different platforms and cross linking
Maintainall the Hardware and the Software related to the network and attend to anyproblem solving tasks in critical times.
AdministratingMicrosoft Windows servers Novell servers Unix servers and Internet servers.
Monitorand Securing the network from hackers through the firewall and other securitytools.
Installingand setting new PCs and connect them to the network.
Createand keep uptodate Network Documentation.
Support local staff in improving of their skills andexpertise
