Job Description

This is a remote position.

Job Summary:

The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering customer orders into the system ensuring timely processing and communication between sales operations and shipping. This role requires attention to detail strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter customer orders into the system with a high level of accuracy

  • Review orders for completeness pricing inventory availability and required documentation

  • Communicate with customers sales teams and internal departments to clarify order details or resolve issues

  • Monitor order status and ensure timely fulfillment and shipping

  • Update records and maintain organized documentation for all transactions

  • Assist with order tracking returns and order-related inquiries

  • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure order processing compliance

  • Support other administrative tasks as needed



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP or order management systems (e.g. SAP NetSuite QuickBooks)

  • Familiarity with inventory or supply chain processes

  • Experience in a distribution logistics or manufacturing environment




Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate s degree a plus)

  • 1 2 years of experience in order entry data entry or customer service

  • Strong data entry and computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
