Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth and Strategy
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand
company s market presence.
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives in line with company
goals.
Analyze market trends competitor activities and customer needs to identify opportunities for
innovation and improvement.
2. Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients agents and strategic partners.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish longterm partnerships that enhance companys
service offerings.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients ensuring excellent service delivery and
satisfaction.
3. Sales and Revenue Generation
Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Identify crossselling and upselling opportunities to maximize customer value.
Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports and insights to the management team.
4. Product Development and Innovation
Work closely with product development teams to align offerings with market needs.
Provide feedback from customers and partners to guide the development of new services or
features.
Ensure that all products comply with industry regulations and standards.
5. Reporting and Analytics
Prepare detailed reports on business performance including key metrics challenges and
growth opportunities.
Use data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of business development strategies.
Provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
6. Team Collaboration
Work collaboratively with marketing operations and finance teams to ensure seamless
implementation of strategies.
Provide training and guidance to support staff and agents to improve performance and align
with business objectives.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
Education
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Marketing Finance or a related field. A
master s degree is an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum of 12 years of experience in business development sales or a related role
preferably within the telecommunications or financial services industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of the mobile money industry and financial technology trends.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain
relationships at all levels.
Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue opportunities in a competitive
environment.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Fluency in English and Swahili is required
