JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description Summary The supervisor ensures Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) erection according with GE highest standards of health safety and quality and in a manner that safeguards the Environment to deliver to the customer a product with highest quality. Job Description
- Promote safe working practices and continual improvement in GE Grid site safely culture
- Responsible and accountable for the overall quality and integrity of the build process for the GIS installation / maintenance
- Responsible for the raising submission and site closure of product based NCPs (Non conformity project)
- Responsible for the liaison between the GIS product unit and the Service units client of over GIS Product and installation issues
- Responsible for the ontime production of reports over project progress and product issues to GIS PL Project manager.
- Shared responsibility for evaluation appraisals and reviews of GE or subcontractors technicians and apprentices
- Responsible for the daily management and setting to work of field resource in order to maximize the potential for project success by effective and efficient operation of the GIS Installation Team ensuring that all agreed work is carried out in accordance with the preset time scales and costs
