Cloud Technology Manager

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design implementation and maintenance of cloudbased solutions
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability
• Develop and implement cloud security strategies and best practices
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align cloud strategy with business objectives
• Oversee the evaluation and adoption of new cloud technologies
• Lead a team of cloud engineers and provide mentorship and guidance
• Define and enforce cloud governance policies and procedures
• Manage cloudrelated budgets forecasts and cost optimization efforts
• Identify and resolve technical and operational issues related to cloud services
• Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices
• Monitor and report on cloud performance and usage metrics
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in cloud technology
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in cloud practices

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• Proven experience in managing cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture networking and security principles
• Experience leading and developing highperforming technical teams
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute cloud strategies aligned with business goals
• Project management skills with a focus on delivering complex cloud projects on time and within budget
• Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities in cloud environments
• Knowledge of cloud cost management and optimization techniques
• Experience implementing and managing cloud governance and compliance frameworks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Azure Solutions Architect or Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment with rapidly evolving technologies
• Understanding of DevOps principles and practices is a plus
• Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration platforms is desirable
• Proven track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement in cloud technology
