Could you be the full-time Rolling Stock Lead Engineer in Cairo were looking for
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your rolling stock engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative innovative and solutions-driven teammates.
Youll ensure that the monorail rolling stock system meets project requirements safety regulations and performance (RAMS) targets while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams suppliers operators and stakeholders. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (e.g. QA production design authorities) lead safety and quality systems management and much more.
Youll specifically take care of analyzing maintenance management systems and conducting trend analysis but also lead technical audits and provide updated maintenance strategies.
Well look to you for:
Managing safety and quality systems and processes
Conducting accident and safety investigations
Establishing asset replacement programs and analyzing performance trends
Leading the FRACAS process and proposing corrective actions
Providing technical authority for rolling stock-related matters
Reviewing and approving designs specifications and technical documentation
Conducting regular technical audits and ensuring compliance with standards
Collaborating with stakeholders to align with best practices and technological advancements
Compiling and implementing instructions specifications and safety standards

Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the Rolling Stock/Railway Industry
Understanding of rolling stock design traction and braking systems and vehicle dynamics
Knowledge of RAMS and safety engineering principles
Familiarity with railway standards regulations and configuration management
Strong technical leadership and problem-solving skills
Stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Ability to make decisions under pressure with a quality and safety focus
