About you and this role

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Specialist located in Cairo Egypt. This role leads and executes all aspects of the quality program to profitably meet customer and product regulatory requirements related to the quality management system and related business quality strategies. Promotes and enables a customer-focused culture across multiple plants or within a single plant with complex interfaces and/or requirements. Requires expanded conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and broadens capabilities. Works across a site hub or region to provide analytical solutions method development and validation implementation of Most Effective Technology (MET) and improvements to lab productivity for manufacturing plant/product support and Quality Control Lab technical services.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality Investigations & CAPA: Conducts rootcause investigations for quality complaints and drives corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive Product Quality Improvements: Identifies and leads plantlevel quality enhancement initiatives using data analysis customer feedback and continuous improvement programs.

• Ensure Compliance with Quality Systems: Maintains and aligns plant Operating Discipline procedures with quality system requirements and acts as the focal point for quality compliance.
• Support Audits & Continuous Improvement: Participates in internal and external audits supports site quality system reviews and uses findings to promote ongoing improvements.
• Manage Laboratory Quality Functions: Oversees lab operations including complex analyses method development/validation analytical system performance documentation and equipment maintenance.
• Generate & Utilize Quality Data: Produces analyzes and leverages quality data to drive product quality improvements and support decisionmaking.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelors degree in science Pharmaceutical or Chemical Engineering is required.
• 1-3 years of quality manufacturing or related experience is required.
• ERP (SAP) experience and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) are a plus
