The HR Director for the Middle East region based in Riyadh will play a pivotal role in driving talent development employee engagement and organizational growth for a leading healthcare company. This senior leadership role requires a dynamic HR professional with a proven track record of developing and executing impactful human resources strategies tailored to diverse markets across the region. The HR Director will be responsible for leading the regional HR team managing complex operational and strategic HR functions and ensuring alignment with corporate goals while adapting them to local labor laws workforce needs and market conditions.
What Youll be Doing
- Regional HR Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies for the Middle East region ensuring alignment with global corporate objectives while tailoring initiatives to meet local workforce needs and regulatory requirements.
- Talent Management: Lead the recruitment development and retention of top talent within the healthcare company ensuring the creation of a highperformance culture across the region.
- Employee Engagement: Implement programs and initiatives to drive employee engagement satisfaction and wellbeing fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Compliance & Labor Relations: Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations managing employee relations and handling complex employment matters across the region.
- Leadership Development: Design and execute leadership development programs that identify mentor and promote internal talent ensuring a pipeline of future leaders within the company.
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process ensuring alignment between individual goals and organizational objectives while driving continuous improvement.
- Team Leadership: Lead mentor and develop a highperforming HR team across the region ensuring effective collaboration innovation and a resultsdriven culture.
- Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to support the companys growth and transformation objectives ensuring smooth transitions and organizational alignment.
- Compensation & Benefits: Oversee the development and management of competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent ensuring equity and compliance with local practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with leadership teams department heads and external partners to ensure smooth coordination and alignment of HR policies and practices across all functions.
Who You Are
- Experience: Minimum 1015 years of human resources experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role ideally within the healthcare industry. Proven track record of success in the Middle East region.
- Regional Expertise: Indepth understanding of labor laws and HR best practices in the Middle East particularly in Saudi Arabia with experience handling diverse and complex workforce needs.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management abilities with experience leading large crossfunctional and multicultural teams.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute longterm HR strategies while remaining agile to adapt to changing organizational and market needs.
- Change Management: Proficiency in managing organizational change and transformation initiatives within large complex companies.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data measure performance and optimize processes for maximum impact and efficiency.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior leadership local teams and external partners.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field. An MBA or relevant masters degree is preferred.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
